The Fixit Factory, based in Dallington, Christchurch, is like the TV show “The Repair Shop” — if it’s broken, there’s a good chance Phil Garrett and his team can fix it.

From treasured household items to specialist equipment, they’ve been providing high-quality repair services for 6 years. With just 2 people on the team, they pride themselves on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and bringing items back to life.

THE CHALLENGE

The Fixit Factory’s old website was little more than a set of pictures, with no SEO or lead-generation capability. As a result, very few enquiries came in through the site.

The lack of online visibility meant they couldn’t grow the business, and owner Phil Garrett even had to take a part-time job to make ends meet.

With such a wide range of items they could repair, the challenge was also how to capture all those niche searches in a way that would bring in the right type of customers.

THE SOLUTION

We developed a plan to both drive immediate enquiries and set the business up for long-term online growth:

Google Search Ads – launched to start generating leads and enquiries quickly.

New SEO-Optimised Website – built with strong service page structure so it could rank for a wide range of repairs.

Content Expansion – created 30 blog posts to target the huge variety of potential search terms related to different types of repairs, helping “spread the net” online.
